Personal Safety & Self-Protection Education Workshop

The Rotary Club hosted a personal safety education workshop prior to the holiday season to support community awareness and preparedness. Participants received instruction on situational awareness, personal defense strategies, and risk prevention techniques designed to enhance individual safety.

The workshop included expert-led guidance from a certified firearms safety professional, who focused on responsible handling, legal considerations, and safe storage, as well as a judo instructor who provided practical self-defense techniques emphasizing balance, control, and de-escalation. This project promoted informed decision-making, confidence, and personal responsibility as part of Rotary’s commitment to community well-being and prevention.
