The Lake Spivey-Clayton County club partners with local sponsors as well as the city of Jonesboro and the Jonesboro Police Department, Clayton County Police Department and Fire department, the latter providing traffic control and medical services should they be needed, to host a road race. The proceeds from the race are used by the club to enable them to do service projects throughout the year.
